Prince Edward Island (PEI) provides healthcare to newcomers via the PEI Health Card under the PEI Medicare program. To apply and receive first-day coverage, fill out the Personal Health Card Application:

1. Proof of permanent residency (permanent resident card, or other official immigration documents)

2. Proof of residence in PEI

3. You must be physically present in PEI six months out of the calendar year
